Yes, we make custom models using your blueprints or 3D files.

We recently delivered four 1:29 scale static models to Electro-Motive Diesels of LaGrange, IL of their GT36CW export locomotives. These locomotives are in Algerian National Railways livery. One of the models will reside in the office of the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

The process involved converting EMD’s 2D files to 3D in order to create patterns in a 4-axis machining center. We then made molds of the patterns and cast out four sets of castings for each model. Assembly, paint, and custom graphics finished the models. The folks at EMD are very excited to have these models and it looks like there will be more in the future.
